Nate Wright first fell in love with the High Country as a student at Appalachian State. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, he enjoys the slower pace of life and more community feel that mountain living affords.
As a graduate of Appalachian State University with concentrations in Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, his business background helps serve buyers and sellers in land, home, and commercial sales.
Previous roles he has held are small business insurance underwriting for Nationwide Insurance and technology/e-commerce for Club Shop Peanuts & Golf.
Hobbies and passions include cars, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, sailing and spending time with family.
Nate also serves as Vice President for the Foscoe Grandfather Community Center and Park.
Kelsey Wright has a family history and mountain heritage rooted in the High Country. Her family has resided in this special area for over 200 years. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s in English. Previous roles she has held were customer service oriented in the public sector, and still holds an active role in her parent's local store, Club Shop Peanuts & Golf.
Kelsey’s strengths in real estate are her local knowledge and strong ties to the community. These allow her an ability to navigate through the complex process of buying or selling in the High Country market.
A true local team, Kelsey’s family has resided in this community for over 200 years. We met as students at Appalachian State. After graduating, we had a brief stint working in Raleigh, North Carolina, where Nate is from. During that time in our lives, we longed to return to the mountains to be a part of a community, experience a different pace of life, and raise a family.
In 2016, we took a leap of faith and left our corporate and governmental jobs to pursue our entrepreneurial interests. We started our career in real estate alongside helping Kelsey’s parent's golf store and have not looked back.
The day we left Raleigh we picked up our dog Sailor, a Hungarian Vizsla, as a 10-week puppy. In 2019, we were blessed to grow our family with the addition of Harrison Wright. In 2020, our family grew yet again and we welcome Blair into the world. Every day is a new day, but we are thankful each day we get to call the High Country home and serve our clients in real estate.
